Don't Believe Everything You Think |

|
The role of the mind is to analyze, judge and compare.
This is what the mind does, that’s its job. The mind’s primary concern is to keep thinking, because that’s what it does.
Unfortunately, when the mind doesn’t receive much parental attention from us, it starts to behave like an unruly child shouting over our hearts honest voice and the whispers of our intuition. Don’t believe everything you think. Your thoughts are not you nor do they define you but they can have great influences on how you react and engage in your life. We can’t change our thoughts; we can only bring in new thoughts into our mind and then mindfully choose the new thoughts instead of our old conditioned thoughts. Eventually old ways of thinking will become quiet and will be replaced by new thoughts. Your brain will respond, your body will respond and you will have learned a powerful practice of resiliency.
