Sue Othmer received her BA in physics from Cornell University in 1966. She continued with graduate study in Neurobiology and Behavior at Cornell and the UCLA Brain Research Institute until 1971.
Sue has been working clinically with neurofeedback since 1988. She has worked with a wide variety of clients seeking symptom reduction and/or performance enhancement. She has a special interest in working with adults and children with neurological or developmental disorders.
As clinical director of the EEG Institute, Sue currently divides her time between working with neurofeedback clients, teaching professional courses on neurofeedback, and collaborating on the development of new neurofeedback instrumentation and protocols.

Raven Drum Foundation announces the debute of Resiliency Radio – an interactive radio show created to empower, educate and inspire during difficult times. The show will be hosted by Def Leppard drummer, Rick Allen, featuring live interviews with celebrity guests and cutting edge professionals working in the fields of health, wholeness and resiliency.
“We found it impossible to be in more than one place at a time and in trying to figure out how to reach a greater number of people, it hit us! A radio show,” said Rick Allen, co-founder of the Raven Drum Foundation, when explaining the origins of Resiliency Radio. “Each episode will focus on a different method to find balance and well-being. Listeners will hear about various techniques and call in with questions and comments,” stated Lauren Monroe, co-founder and co-host.

Resiliency Radio is a program of the Raven Drum Foundation, a nonprofit founded in 2001 by Rick Allen, drummer for Def Leppard, and Lauren Monroe, MA, CMT. Raven Drum's mission is to serve, educate and empower veterans and people in crisis. The Veteran Resiliency Project is the foundation’s primary program and focuses on veterans and their families. This program guides participants and provides somatic and integrative tools that bring body and mind to a place of rest and balance. The foundation engages music as a tool for healing allowing participants to use rhythm as a form of release, an avenue for empowerment and a means to connect to others.
